I've been waiting for an email for several days and haven't heard of the other person yet. He emailed me, I answered him but I haven't heard back yet. I wish to send a message to remind him to answer me but I wish to know the correct way of putting it.

I am thinking of something like this:

I am writing in regards to/regarding your email of/from the 10th January 2019.

Any suggestions?

why don't you just say "I am writing further to your email on 10 January 2019 and my subsequent reply below. I would like to know when I should expect a answer.

Many thanks in advance,
