I have accidentally had a hugely exciting and immensely varied life. Grew up in New Zealand on farmland in early development stage with no electricity or running water for many years. Real pioneer stuff. Went to Scotland in my early twenties to work on a deer hunting estate where I took various members of the British royal family and members of certain aristocratic families hunting in the mountains. Worked in London as a motorcycle courier before obtaining my captains ticket and delivering yachts around the world. Worked on large industrial construction projects around the globe as well shipyards in the Persian Gulf.
I've been imprisoned and interrogated by Egyptian military intelligence at an army base in Port Bereniece. I sailed with an Israeli yacht rally into the Gulf of Suez that missed being blown up by Al Qaeda by a few hours due to "unfavourable" winds. I've been dragged out of vehicles at gunpoint in five different countries. Sailed through a hurricane in a 43 foot yacht etc etc..... There's lots more and it's been truly accidental and a large amount of exhilarating fun.
