What does "small small" mean in Indian English?
Examining a particular author's background might suggest that their answer carries a little more weight than is generally ascribed. For this answer, I submit Dr Francis has sufficient background, both culturally and linguistically, for his answer to be trusted. Also, in large-pop cultures, sometimes two differing answers can both be correct.

"Without further adieu" vs "Without further ado"
Your answer is bang on. You might also mention the reason it is rare is because it is archaic language, even being used in the title to one of Shakespeare's 16th-century plays, Much Ado About Nothing

What do you call unclean water that you can't see through?
"...that you can't see though..." sidelines stagnant, which describes only the state of flow. Turbid is most precise, followed closely by murky.

Word for individual who tips the balance
@bib I understand your point, but "perfect word" is not a common idiom in English, whilst "mot-juste" is -- in English.
