Hi i dono if this is the correct place to ask this question, but hope it ll be a good one for "English logophiles" and "Movie Buffs"
If you have seen the sci-fi movie, Inception by Christopher Nolan, in the first level of dreaming, they kidnap Cilian Murphy and Tom Hardy tries to get some information from him, by impersonating Browning, his uncle.
Then they sedate him in a car, Tom Hardy removes the bag from his head, gets down from the car, says to Di Caprio the following : That boys relationship with his father is even more worse than we imagine.
Next Joseph Gordon Levitt(JGL) replies, THIS HELPS US HOW?
Now, my question... Is this a correct sentence? Why dint JGL say like, How does this help us?
Can anyone give an answer?
