Nov 26, 2020 at 12:42 comment added peter here merriam-webster.com/dictionary/swap i think it says when used with "for" it means "give A for B", which indeed clears up my question. sorry for bothering you and for not having the idea to look there. i had googled "swap direction" and such which didnt turn up anything. maybe in the future it will now. ;-)
