Each mad scientists may be anticipating something a little different, it could be as simple as the expression on their faces when they realize they are wrong, or much greater expressions of thankfulness or regret for expressing doubts, or even the ruined academic careers of the doubters purely as a result of their own incorrect criticism. | |
