I think people would say 10s of millions if they meant 20 or 50 million.for more ?' almost a 100 million'. Millions and millions to me would mean 100s of millions..something short of a billion ..maybe, maybe not.. it's trying to be uncountable at that point. My opinion.. but I'd definitely hear 'many millions" to mean more than millions. Language is what it means to people.. dictionaries are lagging indicators..... | |
