Nov 25, 2015 at 16:30 comment added michael_timofeev @Josh61 ok so I am mistaken...still..."Mokka Pot?"
Nov 25, 2015 at 16:28 comment added michael_timofeev @Josh61 I just looked on Google in Germany and it seems the Germans are more precise in what they call espresso maker...they show an actual machine...so it looks as if what this is called is improperly called espresso maker. So I stand corrected. In Taiwan it is called an Italian Coffee Pot.

Nov 25, 2015 at 16:24 comment added ErikE @Josh61 There are no coffee makers that make expresso coffee; some, however, do make espresso coffee! (The spelling of espresso is with an s, not an x.)
Nov 25, 2015 at 16:21 comment added michael_timofeev @Josh61 I understand it doesn't make the same stuff as what you get from a real machine. Trouble is if you go to a store and ask for a Mokka Pot, people won't know what you mean...not everyone but enough that after describing it people will say "oh, you mean..."
Nov 25, 2015 at 16:15 comment added michael_timofeev @Josh61 well, then there is a problem with the popular name for it...remodelista.com/products/bialetti-stovetop-espresso-maker...
Nov 25, 2015 at 16:06 comment added michael_timofeev @Josh61 what does it make? Cause I've been using one for twenty years and the packaging usually says "espresso maker" on it.
Nov 25, 2015 at 14:35 comment added michael_timofeev @Mari-LouA I don't care what everyone else calls it, I'm still calling it an espresso maker.
Nov 25, 2015 at 13:45 comment added User1000547 Wow. TIL that what I've been calling a percolator all this time is actually a moka pot and a percolator is something different. I think I need a moment to process this.
