Sep 1, 2015 at 11:32 comment added Born2Smile 'shun' does not imply a level of secrecy. On the contrary, in many instances shun is interchangeable with 'visibly and deliberately ignore'. Thus, while you may avoid contact, you don't necessarily end up avoiding the people.
