There are enough Google hits for "administer diamorphine" to consider it as an acceptable usage, but the one hit for "administrate diamorphine" does not license this usage. The fact that a dictionary defines a word using a synonym does not mean that it is saying that the two words are freely interchangeable; this is rarely (if ever) the case. | |
