Learn more about TeamsI was an early adopter of Stack Overflow, quite early in the beta period. I was active to various extents on several other sites, including reaching a level that granted various queue-management rights on seven of them. I have two-digit profile ids on several of these, and low 3-digits on others.
My activity has become increasingly infrequent over the past few years, for a variety of reasons both personal and with the platform. With the recent changes that have occurred both at the corporate and moderator levels, I do not see anything that would make this increase at this point or anytime soon. I may still be on from time to time, but my contributions will be rare to nonexistent. I don't see Stack Overflow / Stack Exchange to be a place that wants me, nor is it a place I particularly want to be most of the time.
For this reason, I've removed my profile information and a large portion of my community involvement. Thanks for 10 interesting, thought-provoking, and sometimes maddening years together.
It's not just you, it's some me too.
