Word to indicate the naming process of something due to an oft repeated name not originally pertaining to it
Would you dare give further explanation in the sentence, such as something like this, "The Company, eponymously named after the shop that gave rise to it."?

it would work considering that the city's name has become that of an influential structure, "Eleusis, a town becoming the name of the hero Eleusis," "The Company, becoming the name of a small shop that influence the rise of a civilization."

Very interesting word, eponym (n.) "one whose name becomes that of a place, a people, an era, an institution, etc., 1833, from Greek eponymos "given as a name, giving one's name to something," as a plural noun (short for eponymoi heroes) denoting founders (legendary or real) of tribes, cities, etc.; from comb. form of epi "upon, (called) after," (see epi-) + onyma, Aeolic dialectal variant of onoma "name" (see name (n.)). According to the etymology of the word Onoma "Name," I wonder if in the sentence it would be redundant to say "Eponymously named," What are your thoughts on this?

A word that defines something that is valuable for its lack of function and productive value?
it doesn't follow nececessarily that that which has a function has value; just take a look at art. There is art that is not made into massive production for commerce and holds a value of its own. I don't want this to be marketable; I want the opposite; I want it to be purposeless that in this functionlessless it finds its true value. Yet it is true that there are art forms which start from function and adapt form to the end of the particular.

(Kitch) Kitsch - "A form of art that is considered an inferior, tasteless copy of an extant style." This defenition suits it great! I think I will call this group of Artists the Kitsch. It even has a debasing air to it; sounds powerful as denigration coming from an opposing Vanguard artist "You call that art? you lousy Kitsch!"

Nice one a conflictive sentence out of conflict itself. But, is our nature, in this case to produce independent art? or to appeal to the masses? I'll probably end up coining a corny term like "Formians" and "Functionalists" for the other lot, for these particular groups of artists in my novel. lol.

Yes, true; this is an Adornian point of view on the value of art when centering on form and not on function; for independent art should be dysfunctional, for only in its "functionlessness" can it fullfill its lack of purpose. I need a word, for a novel I'm writing, that can coin a form of art that focuses on form as an eye opener on a cultural aspect, and not merely on the production aspect or a blended one.

Difference is the one I need "has an instrinsic value," like art (not massive production art) but independent art which has no other function but to be itself and reveal meanings.

But seeing some examples of it I think this could work... Since in my context it is a city named differently but refers to the same thing. Nice.

Interesting... but would it apply to the casual act of nicknaming? Say, a person is named John, but he is missing one foot, so it's become popular to call him "One Foot", now everybody knows him by that name.

Word that describes something that glows with light, but cannot break the barrier of darkness
This word I like and also has faint mysterious aspect to it. When applied to an object it seams to vivifie it with a contained glow.

I like this word for my context; if there is no better one then I'll use this one. Maybe somthing like this, "The city was a show of lights that was felt from within, but beyond the heights of buildings and into the darkness, it cowered to only a glimmer that dared not pry into the outside night."

like a dance of lights that hold a glow only to themselves... could be. good one. But when you think of sparkles one tends not to think of a whole body flowing with inner light.

I believe you hit the spot! "The Company, named thus by a wide generization, was a show of lights, very different from its former self."
