I program in Java, JavaScript, PHP, Lua, etc. I write fiction and am constantly trying to bring my science fiction closer to hard sf and my fantasy-set stories farther away from science (though I still can't get rid of thermodynamics from my Jack Frost stories). I knit, sew, and make jewelry.

I can't seem to gain much rep on stackOverflow, because all the easy questions in my field are already answered or are indecipherable, or are answered as I type. And any question I have is already asked and answered in some way or another.
