***EDIT2:*** Changed subject from rainbow to guy, on the thought that it might make you think the subject isn't specified. I want to make a sentence meaning "**The guy** doesn't come there." > There comes the guy. Among the sentences below, which one would be the best negative form of this sentence? 1. There doesn't come the guy. (*doesn't come* and *the guy* inverted) 2. Not there comes the guy. (*Not there* as an adverb clause) 3. There not comes the guy. (*not comes* as a verb) If there isn't any, what will it be? Since the subject is specified, it can't be "There comes no guy." I've seen a lot of sentences like the one in question. However, I've never thought about negative forms of those. How can I make adverb-inverted sentences into negative ones--not normal negative ones, but still inverted and negative ones? ***EDIT:*** Removed examples below (ones like the sentence in question), because I thought they might confuse.
