Irony is quite suitable :
Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs
Merriam-Webster gives :
Incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result
Humorous or sardonic literary style or form characterized by irony
My Alternative is Antithetic/Antithesis :
Sharply contrasted in character or purpose
Merriam-Webster gives :
Being in direct and unequivocal opposition
Directly opposite or opposed
Discussion :
In grammar & style rule books , we see the Stylist say something like "DO NOT USE ALL-CAPS" & "Do not over-use Exclamations !!!!" & Etc , where the Stylist is going against the rule. It is not that the Stylist is unaware : It is to highlight the Impact of the rule. It is a rhetorical device to try going against (opposite to) what the rule is claiming.
We can use Irony & Antithetic/Antithesis when going against the necessary claim.
We can avoid that by going with the necessary claim like this : "Do not use all-caps" & "Do not over-use Exclamations" & Etc.
Situation in your Case is Copy-Pasting "Do not Copy-Paste Statuses & Messages" Messages.
