What is a word for those people who say you don't need that thing, although they have it, and its urban synonym.

E.g.:

  • Rich man: You don't need money.
  • Beautiful girl: You don't have to be pretty.

In a SENTENCE I would use it like "Stop being so ....., you don't believe that crap"

You need to specify that hypernyms such as 'hypocrite' are too simplistic. See candidates at alternatives to 'hypocrite' etc. – Edwin Ashworth Apr 3 at 13:12
  • I can't find a suitable word, but the response usually evoked is given by Macmillan: "It's all right for you!" – Edwin Ashworth Apr 3 at 13:21
