"forced to make due with"

I don't know it doesn't sound right to me, is it grammatically correct?

Should be make do with. Happens because some people pronounce do and due the same, hence * much adue. – user339660 May 31 at 3:29
  • Grammar, yes. Idiomacy, no. Currency, sadly, yes, which influences future idiomacy. – Lawrence May 31 at 3:29
  • It’s make do, not make due. Look it up. – Xanne May 31 at 3:30
  • @Minty That could be an answer. – DJClayworth May 31 at 3:32
