I’m editing something that talks about an “Asian-inspired” hotel. Is this correct? If I were to flip the words and write that the hotel is "inspired by __,” I’d say, “inspired by Asia,” not “inspired by Asian.” So am I correct in thinking the proper expression is “Asia-inspired”?

Is the inspiration from the place (Asia) or the people (Asians)? – KillingTime Feb 11 at 22:25
  • Ah, okay, I see what you mean. Maybe then Asian-inspired makes sense. – debbiesym Feb 11 at 23:12
