    It seems to me verb tense has some relevance here. I'm interested in seeing him is fine, but I'm interested to see him doesn't work. On the other hand, both I will be interested in seeing him and I will be interested to see him both seem okay to me (the second version perhaps a little less so, unless followed by a verb-based element such as ...to see him do that). – FumbleFingers Jan 11 at 18:41
