What can we call this round shaped plastic container?

It is called a "plain pill bottle". See, for example, Plain Pill Bottle – user208726 Nov 5 '18 at 20:39
  • Depends how big it is. The photo does not make that clear. Could be the size of a dustbin. – Nigel J Nov 5 '18 at 20:41
  • I would just say "bottle". It may be used for something other than pills. – GEdgar Nov 5 '18 at 22:01
  • Also try google image search (you supply an image and it returns web sites that are 'like that' and you can see the text associated. It's hit or miss; those results are attended to the tamper proof part of the picture, not the bottles. – Mitch Nov 6 '18 at 1:00

It's commonly called a pill bottle, as suggested, but it is called a pharmaceutical round bottle by this supplier (where I've bought bottles from for my business, and they know their business; I can attest to that).

Click on the links below for photos and more specific descriptions (such as HDPE Wide Mouth).

By the way, I buy other kinds of bottles from them. I found pharmaceutical bottles by searching for "pill bottle" on their website, so they know that is a very common term for them.
