Is there any official word that can be used to discribe a very good relationship between two persons( older person and younger person) that are not blood related.

  • Could it be "friendship"? – WS2 Oct 19 '18 at 8:23
  • Linda, hello and thanks for visiting EL&U. To get the best out of the site, it is helpful if you take the tour and have a look at the help center. One thing which will help you get an answer to your queston is to provide the information specified for the tags you have used. In this case the Single-word-request tag has a number of requirements including the need for a sample sentence and a description of what research you've already done. There is also a checklist to help avoid getting your question flagged as low quality. Cheers – Spagirl Oct 19 '18 at 10:51

Words that come off the top of my head are rapport or bond?

They have a good rapport.

They share a bond.
