  • Do you mean that someone completes work by given deadlines or do you mean the person stays until the end of the working day ? – Nigel J Jan 5 '18 at 13:11

What words have you considered, and why do they not work? – Davo Jan 5 '18 at 15:33

Please edit your question to add these helpful clarifications. Word requests should always include (i) your criteria for accepting answers, including connotation, register, and part of speech; (ii) exact context – generally we want the sentence you’re writing; and (iii) details of research you’ve already done (trips to the thesaurus, etc.) including solutions you’ve already rejected, and why. See: “Single word requests, crosswords, and the fight against mediocrity – ELU Meta”. – MetaEd Jan 5 '18 at 18:53

The closest I can think of is:

The fact or quality of being on time.
‘he was a stickler for punctuality’

(But I cannot shake the thought you may be looking for something more like https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/us/go-getter.)
