I just wrote the sentence below in an email and then doubted why I was putting a comma before each of the occurrences of "then".
To my inner ear, it seems natural to signal a pause in my if/then statements but I realized that I have no idea how this reads to a reader (or in this case a client).
Is this wrong, bad form, both? (I know the "a)" stuff is junk).
If there are no problems, then there is a) a tested workaround and b) confirmation that the issue is in pre-processing the text. If there is still a problem, then I’ll have to dig further.
