If you want to know the working hours, ask "What are the working hours? " – andy256 Apr 22 '14 at 3:52
  • Are you still wondering? – Kris Apr 22 '14 at 5:26
  • As an aside, it's either "I was wondering what the work hours are.", or "I was wondering, what are the work hours?", but not a mixture of both. – RegDwigнt Apr 22 '14 at 11:36

2nd sentence is correct because you are talking of present.
