These seem to be accepted alternative spellings of "exed out" and "anti-vaxer", and the former somehow read better with less phonetic ambiguity than the latter. However "all my exes" always uses the singular 'x'.
Nov 9, 2020 at 19:45 comment added Michael Harvey I was brought up to avoid double-Ws, and would rather write bow-wow, glow-worm, pow-wow with either a hyphen or a space. Some pairs of words should not be compounded.
