I am writing a poem for school. The verse with the word I need to change is this:

7 hours is too long
In much too short a day
You really don’t care if you get an answer wrong
Because you don’t care a _____ about radioactive decay

The only thing I can think of is the word shit, but that word is too offensive. I have tried looking for inoffensive alternatives at Real Life English's Not so Offensive Alternatives to Bad Words in English, and wordhippo but these alternatives do not sound great, especially in a poem.

I also searched for don't care a ___ on the free dictionary by Farlex's idioms website and "don't care a fig" came up, alongside some other suggestions I tried from the autofill suggestions. Most worked literally, but I am looking for a more clever and poetic word or words that could be used in a way that relates to my poem. I am not just looking for any old answer. I do not want you to simply search for "don't care a…" on google. I want suggestions that show thought and fit creatively into my poem.

As for being put on hold, I do not believe my question is "off-topic". After all, my question relates to English. It is clearly not Physical Education! It is about word choice and usage (as I am questioning my word choice of the word shit, and am trying to find a better one that can be used in a more clear way), which is fine to ask about, according to the help center. So could you let me know why my answer was put on hold? Also, I have changed the part about it being too easy to answer. I put this into my question because I could not find an area where it would get the attention of the people who put my question on hold. Once it gets off being on hold, I will delete this.

You really don’t care if you get an answer wrong
Because you don’t care a _____ about radioactive decay

The only thing I can think of is the word shit, but that word is too offensive. Do any of you have an idea for a more clean alternative?

I have tried shiznit and shoot (which websites such aslooking for inoffensive alternatives at Real Life English's https://reallifeglobal.com/inoffensive-alternatives-to-bad-words-in-english/Not so Offensive Alternatives to Bad Words in English and, and https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/another-word-for/shit.html suggested as alternatives), but they don'tthese alternatives do not sound great. Especially, especially in a poem.

I also searched up "don't care a ___"for (https://idioms.thefreedictionary.com I searched up don't care a...don't care a ___ on the free dictionary by Farlex's idioms website and fig"don't care a fig" came up, then they also have a ton of things that mean a similar thing, alongside some other suggestions I tried them all, most. Most worked literally, but I am looking for a more clever and poetic word or words that could be used)and still found nothing helpful. Before you answer, may I remind you in a way that relates to my poem. I am not just looking for an answer like that, but anany old answer that relates in a way to my poem (maybe radioactive decay or something) would be ideal.

I do not want you to simply search upfor "don't care a..."a…" on google. I want suggestions that show thought and fit creatively into my poem. Do not just google it, and paste whatever answer you find here because I have tried most of those.
