godly (no negative connotation except to atheists) - militant atheists, maybe? I think being an atheist by itself doesn't automatically imply one must perceive religiousness (even devout) as a negative trait. I'm an atheist, and I don't: it's just not my cup of tea. Unless it's something English-specific that escapes me (I'm not a native speaker)
