The problem is that "taking a nap" is very different than spending the night with someone. Because you usually take a a nap alone, during the day, it pretty much excludes the "sleeping in the same bed with someone overnight" situation. @rolfl it does not even suggest that X was taking a nap at the same time that's the point!
