Aug 21, 2015 at 14:23 comment added Fattie rather related: thumbcandy is a useful term for useless (ie: All) apps as such on devices.

Mar 4, 2013 at 7:54 comment added Kobi I like to use Toaster, which usually works well for most electronic devices. Of course, that is not fair to actual toasters.
Mar 2, 2013 at 18:46 comment added scott-pascoe You may already be aware of this, but sh#t is essentially a curse word, not normally used in polite company, or business situations. 'Pile of {trash|garbage}' would convey the same derogatory message without providing unnecessary offense to the listener.

Mar 2, 2013 at 1:01 comment added Ellie K @Kaz I haven't heard sh#tbox for awhile! It is used in the U.S., mostly in the Midwest to refer to vehicles, thus is more like a derogatory term for jalopy. "Piece of crap" is intermediate between crud and sh#t, though.

Mar 1, 2013 at 14:35 comment added slhck @MετάEd Well, no, I guess I can say "shit" in a question asking for derogatory terms, but I was implying that there are other words you could use, such as "crap".
Mar 1, 2013 at 14:34 comment added MetaEd @slhck is suggesting the phrase "piece of shit" but was apparently shy of using the word "shit" in a public forum.
Mar 1, 2013 at 14:03 comment added shuhalo Is "piece of" a generic way to express contempt? Like "piece of TV", "piece of car" or "piece of computer"? I have not been aware of that.
Mar 1, 2013 at 14:03 comment added Mr Lister Hey, box is perfectly usable in your examples.
Mar 1, 2013 at 13:47 comment added slhck I guess piece of … would be too generic?
