comment Odd use of agnostic
"Blissfully unaware" is a beautiful way to put it. I was trying to justify the use of the phrase "scenario agnostic" to describe an approach or solution that is not only robust to the scenarios in question, but is effectual with no knowledge of which one it is operating in.

comment What's the opposite of “concatenate” in programming?
There's a lot of logic about parsing being smart and concatenation being dumb, but that's unavoidable. There's only one was to concatenate a string can be split lots of ways. It's the English/programming equivalent of the second law of thermodynamics.

comment How do I hyphenate an open-form compound word with another that should be hyphenated?
@Bjorn I think I like that example even better, as it avoids any complications associated with proper nouns. But I would naively read that as a plant that generates power, fueled by fire, and also fossilized.
