comment OxFORD and CamBRIDGE
@Talia Ford Please give examples of places where the weather is even more unpredictable. I have been all over the world and don't know one. Besides, Italy is far from being always "nice and sunny" ; try it in winter : you can have inches of snow, even in Sicilia. But the weather is by far more predictable. India, with the monsoons is much more extreme, but you predict them for the next year with very little margin of error.

comment What is a word for the sensation when during a conversation you realize you were both talking about different things?
@Matt Эллен certainly not in British English, and from the etymology. I could say "sorry, I thought you were speaking of Lady Thatcher, not the Queen, it was a quid pro quo". My answer is in the scope of the question.

comment Is there a word for the feeling like you have a spider on you?
I understand "have the heebie jeebies" as "be nervous or depressed", and feel it is familiar but not really street-language. (British English - perhaps it is different in The States ?)

comment How to name the supreme power in the universe, in front of various people who believe there is one?
Right, I knew that ; but before for instance an orthodox Jew, the most you can say (from what I heard) is The Name.

comment The use of the term “absolutions”
@Kristinia lopez You are right ; I was aware of that, but usually try to make my answers as short as possible, with regards to the precise question.
