I'm a modern man, digital and smoke-free; a man for the millennium.

A diversified, multi-cultural, post-modern deconstructionist; politically, anatomically and ecologically incorrect.

I've been uplinked and downloaded, I've been inputted and outsourced. I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading.

I'm a high-tech low-life. A cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, bi-coastal multi-tasker, and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond.

I'm new-wave, but I'm old-school; and my inner child is outward-bound.

I'm a hot-wired, heat-seeking, warm-hearted cool customer; voice-activated and bio-degradable.

I interface with my database; my database is in cyberspace; so I'm interactive, I'm hyperactive, and from time to time I'm radioactive.

Behind the eight ball, ahead of the curve, ridin' the wave, dodgin' the bullet, pushin' the envelope.

I'm on point, on task, on message, and off drugs.

I've got no need for coke and speed; I've got no urge to binge and purge.

I'm in the moment, on the edge, over the top, but under the radar.

A high-concept, low-profile, medium-range ballistic missionary.

A street-wise smart bomb. A top-gun bottom-feeder.

I wear power ties, I tell power lies, I take power naps, I run victory laps.

I'm a totally ongoing, big-foot, slam-dunk rainmaker with a pro-active outreach.

A raging workaholic, a working rageaholic; out of rehab and in denial.

I've got a personal trainer, a personal shopper, a personal assistant, and a personal agenda.

You can't shut me up; you can't dumb me down. 'Cause I'm tireless, and I'm wireless. I'm an alpha-male on beta-blockers.

I'm a non-believer, I'm an over-achiever; Laid-back and fashion-forward. Up-front, down-home; low-rent, high-maintenance.

I'm super-sized, long-lasting, high-definition, fast-acting, oven-ready and built to last.

A hands-on, footloose, knee-jerk head case; prematurely post-traumatic, and I have a love child who sends me hate-mail.

But I'm feeling, I'm caring, I'm healing, I'm sharing. A supportive, bonding, nurturing primary-care giver.

My output is down, but my income is up. I take a short position on the long bond, and my revenue stream has its own cash flow.

I read junk mail, I eat junk food, I buy junk bonds, I watch trash sports.

I'm gender-specific, capital-intensive, user-friendly and lactose-intolerant.

I like rough sex; I like tough love. I use the f-word in my e-mail. And the software on my hard drive is hard-core—no soft porn.

comment Can I say a spirit conveyed by something?
The fact that it is a teaching of Confucius I would think this may belong elsewhere because it is ancient text which has with great effort been translated into English. Often any rules to English are thrown out so as to keep the meaning as unadulterated as possible. Maybe I am not understanding the question.

@TrevorD I appreciate your critique. You were too kind in not voting me down for my unsupported claim which Phil pointed out pretty well. I probably deserved a down vote. The fact that you made no mention of the poor grammar used in my hastily written second sentence was either an oversight on your part or you were feeling quite generous;-) I hope my edit clarified & corrected my answer. Superlative was the word that eluded me at 2 a.m. Kudos to John Lawler.

@Phil spot-on in your assessment as I am from the states & not the UK. Interesting because I usually feel the UK English sounds 'more' proper for lack of a better term.

comment 1 or 2 words for 'completed on our own accord, without said individual's request/expectation'
well done. You were correct, I had not read the question thoroughly enough. I appreciate the apology. Is there a civility badge for you or something;-)

comment What meter is best for songs, especially hymns?
I was surprised this has lasted so long in English language and usage. I don't know enough about writing poetry or music but when I hear 3/4 time or similar I immediately think back to my Music Course I took in college. Does this fall in this SE Q & A for lack of a better fitting Q & A?

I second that notion as does Nate Eldridge whom I believe I can speak for after almost coming to blows over our differing interpretations of the Title/question LOL (jjk)

added a second option, put the options in bold to make it more appealing to the eye.

comment What does the word “practical ” mean in “Old Possum's book of practical cats”?
Interesting factoid on Cat's and the question piqued my curiosity. Authors being creative as they are (Silverstein, Seuss, Burgess, Friedman, etc.) can leave one wondering how they come up with some of the titles they do, even after reading the book.

@tobias thank you very much. I randomly stumbled upon this site andreally think it's a great idea. I have yet to explore the many other categories. Well I did get into the philosophy page and then realized if I sit and philosophize I will never find a job!! great site, great idea for a community driven Q & A that seems to attract a more intelligent and conscientious group than you would on most areas of the good ol World Wide Web ;-)

@tobias - are you adding answers to the question you had originally asked? I recently found this site so maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it looks like you asked the question above. Then it looks like you gave the last answer above (regarding wiki or something). Not that I take issue with that; I'm a live and let live kind of fellow. Best of Luck! THanks My First Best Answer - that I've seen:-)
