Primarily a Python/C++/C geek, fluent in a double handful of other languages, starting to get into Haskell. At one time or another I've been a bioinformaticist, a database backend hacker, a data miner, a security geek and a formal language theorist, occasionally more than one at the same time.

comment Did English ever have a formal version of “you”?
@Cerberus: here in Vlaams-Brabant (the province just east of Brussels, for those not familiar with Belgian geography) everyone uses "je", and you'll be looked at funny if you use "u". I've never heard "gij" or "ge", but I'm not a native speaker and don't know many people from other provinces, so take that with a grain of salt.
