comment Why is “definitely” so frequently typoed?
No, I meant how it is usually pronounced, not how it should be pronounced. And I'm still probably maybe wrong.

Infinitely is easier to spell because it isn't pronounced infinately, even though definitely is often pronounced definately.

comment Is “facebook” as a verb different from “google” or “photoshop”?
I'm not sure I know what you mean. What can I "facebook"? I know that nowadays, I can friend you on Facebook. Is that the same as Facebooking you?

That is also true for many Linux distribution as well. Some people say oo-bun-too, while others say oo-boon-too, gen-too, jen-too, soo-seh, soos, etc. BTW, I used to say leenux, then heard a lot of lie-nux, so thought I was wrong, but never like lie-nux, so I still look around when I say "I use leenux" to check whether someone will correct me.

comment Is “non-vegetarian” a correct word?
@MatthewMartin: "This meal is non-vegetarian - it contains meat" or A: "Are you a vegetarian or non-vegetarian?" B: "I'm a non-vegetarian and I eat meat everyday". The people answering seem to have (correctly) assumed these are the usages I was talking about.
