“Need just [verb]” vs. “need to just [verb]” Adjusted answer to emphasize that the problem is one of tone, not content. |

“Need just [verb]” vs. “need to just [verb]” Your comment does more to prove than disprove my point. |

Best word for “unable to change” "Strictured" is a neat word, thanks for sharing! That said, I don't think it will be familiar to my audience, and in the context I'm working in I think that "unadaptable" will be more easily understood. |

Best word for “unable to change” Oh my, I just realized I was using the Mac's built-in thesaurus, not dictionary, trying to check if 'unadaptable' was a word. Thanks for catching my blunder. :) |

“Versus” versus “vs.” in writing @pacerier: "England vs Australia" to me sounds like a soccer match, or an olympic event, something of that sort. |

“The contents of the cereal box” — singular or plural? I've re-written the answer to be more clear. |

“The contents of the cereal box” — singular or plural? I guess all I mean is, it seems to me that people frequently second guess themselves when they write something like the (plural noun) are, and it seems the article is making them second guess whether they should say the (plural noun) is, instead of the (plural noun) are as the asker indicated. |

Past participle form of “break-even” +1. I would definitely say something like "I broke even last year," or "the goal is to at least break even." |
