Since moving to the Bay Area in 2001 I have been working at Pixar. Prior to that I lived in China and was the Chief Software Architect at AsiaInfo, the company that built China's internet. I studied computer science and worked in Texas for many years.

When should end punctuation go inside quotes? Yes, it helps to explain the origin of why the punctuation is inside the quotes. Traditionally if single words or phrases were emphasized, they would be underline or in an italic font, e.g. my password is foo.bar.. |
