“I'm done” or “I've done” @Collin, It's done could mean the programme is completed or finish, it's different from I am done. |

“I'm done” or “I've done” So do I, if we follow VBe, the subject of the sentence is BEING DONE not the task. |

“I'm done” or “I've done” Based on Webster's defination in the sentence : I am done ; I , the subject of sentece , is being completed. It's not the task which is completed. |

Has the use of the idiom “last week” surpassed the use of the correct “yester-week”? After reading PLL's and Cerberus's answers and comments, I realised that my belief was indeed bulit on a false premise. Please pardon me on my ignorance and false belief. It's a really eye opener and I hope again hope if I ever come out with this kind of questions again you would able to clear my doubt and enlighten me. |
