Ambiguities and use of infinite and “-ing” form To me, the title of that video indicates the second meaning so I do not find it ambiguous. Your suggestion of "Why you will fail having a great career" sounds a little ungrammatical and much more ambiguous. |

A word to describe someone who has moved back to live in his/her home country? @coleopterist Though that would be out of a country. You'd have to mangle some Latin and get an adportee. :P |

Phrase synonymous to “a general understanding”? I realise this might be part of a list or some other non-prose structure, but "Writes" is missing a subject. Putting it in the imperative, "Write", would sound better. |

“Move slower” vs. “move less” I think you need to elaborate that point. In your answer you don't address the fact that it is the movement that is being compared, not the traffic directly. |

“Move slower” vs. “move less” But the traffic would also move less. Less movement. |

Collection of mathematical formulas Tangentially, in engineering we have databooks, such as Calvert and Farrar's, which actually contain a lot of formulae (as well as data). |
