Should one ever use the word “please” in an order or demand? You always have the option to refuse, whether it is an order, a request, or whatever. Simply put, sometimes the negative consequences of refusing make it seem like you don't have the option, but really you do. There are times when it is bad or unlawlful but really, you still have the option. |

Difference between “pain” and “ache” All aches are pains, but not all pains are aches. Seems to mostly be defined by how one feels regarding the pain. (Just felt I'd throw this in. Definitely not worth an answer). |

“I believe it's valid” vs. “I believe it valid” "To be, or not to be. That is the true question." Sorry I just felt that I had to. Not a helpful comment at all @@ |

If he is still alive today, he… @RoaringFish I'm not so sure age is dependant on being dead or alive. I suppose it depends on how one thinks of age. Is age a relationship between "year of death" and "year of birth" or is it a relationship between "current year" and "year of birth"? For the most part, it seems humanity uses the latter. |
