comment What is the meaning of the expression “We can table this”?
Do you want the "correct" answer, or an interpretation of what the person meant? "Tabling" is improper to do via email, so this usage was very informal.

comment What is the meaning of the expression “We can table this”?
The definition of postponing indefinitely is due to the use in the US House of Representatives, and is not the intended purpose of tabling. Comment on bottom of page 215 of RONR 11th edition.

comment What is the meaning of the expression “We can table this”?
RONR uses several pages to explain that tabling to postpone is incorrect and improper, and the intended motion is to postpone.

comment What is the player called who has a turn?
@zsawyer to mitigate this, the method on the UI controller named getCurrentPlayer returns the player that is "logged in", and the method on the game controller(data object) named getCurrentPlayer returns the player who's turn it is. When they are equal, it is your turn.

She corrected me last night; apparently I say "a scissors". Should I modify this question, or ask a new one?
