What is the opposite of “Expiring Soon”? @ruakh: "but it takes up screen real estate" Most likely it doesn't, because table column header most likely already present and is narrower than table content. "It also adds a set of test-cases" It seems that you're overusing unit-testing. Using unit-tests for every trivial scenario is a bad idea, because it will increase workload without providing benefits. Also, decent GUI toolkit will provide this functionality for free, so you'll only need to enable it. "cognitive load" If that feature adds too much of cognitive load to your user, then he/she won't be able to use your app anyway. |

What is the opposite of “Expiring Soon”? @ruakh: "Why would a user want to see the". Becuase user wants to see videos that will expire soon at the bottom of the list. Your advice is bad from programmers perspective. "Sort direction" is very cheap to implement, also this feature present in nearly all software, so there's no need for "examining use-case". |

Word for: “dislike of people that has same gender as speaker” "can absolutely satisfy" Umm... That's not quite it - I've been looking for specific word that precisely describes dislike of people that belong to same gender. I'm not sure if there IS such a word, of course... |

A word that says a person is both female and your friend @T.E.D.: Let's say you're in company of people (all of them of same gender as you) deciding where to go (to hang out or something) and you want to ask if it is okay to invite new person. People of different gender are more likely to have different preferences, so in such situation it makes sense to have some way of telling person's gender in a few words without making anyone think you're inviting your romantic interest. |

Can I use: “I just got 22 years old”? @MarkBeadles: To me it sounds like this sentence is suitable for situation when you're describing (to somebody else) that aside from you there's only one 22 years old person in the room, although I might be wrong about that. Interestingly if you search for phrase "just got 20 years old", there will be some hits, but it looks like this sentence is used mostly by non-native speakers. |

Flora, fauna, robot @BonGart: "you will keep saying", "because you attempt to limit ME" That's nonsense and you're jumping to conclusions. For example, you might belong to a group or have a hobby with established obscure slang where "Mecha" actually means "fauna, but for robots", however such slang will not represent "normal" commonly accepted meaning of the word. Online dictionaries do not know "Mecha". Reference.com actually lists "Mecha" as "walking vehicle controlled by pilot". Which matches usage I've seen. |
