Beat me to it. And if this was for a resume, remove the reference to yourself, start the sentence something like "Worked with..." or more assertive like "Awesome at Syntactically Awesome Stylesheets..." (depending on the employer a little tongue-in-cheek helps)

You are right in thinking it was strange when you said the organization and its rules were in place for a decade without any change. I would think the use of "standing" gives a feeling of temporariness.

comment Use of “homeostasis”
When my girlfriend told me that she was going to Iraq to meet someone she had been talking to for a couple of months it totally effected my homeostasis... but you are right, in 40 years, there have not been many times where that has happened. We will need to know what was meant by "homeostasis" to know if it was used correctly, but grammatically it is correct.
