Usage of the phrase “couldn't help myself” @RegDwightΒВB Sure would do that, but till the time can my question remain here as well?? or should I migrate it completely? |

Usage of the phrase “couldn't help myself” @FumbleFingers But if I just did something, for eg text someone, then I can use it right "I couldn't help myself from text you", I mean to say something which was done just right now |

Usage of the phrase “couldn't help myself” So I couldn't stop myself from laughing at you is correct, right? |

Usage of the phrase “couldn't help myself” Ok I guess I was confusing your latter statement with the one I've mentioned in the question. Thank you. You cleared a lot of doubts +1 |

Usage of the word “insert” @AndrewLeach You don't know how many books like this one I've teared down the one from which I am asking questions, sometimes I get headaches looking at such terrible material where the reasons given for answers are not at all in line with the question or the context(mostly with reading comprehensions) :) |

Mean or Median? @Jay sorry but I was not arguing actually I was too hung up on the fact that there should be a grammatical error not a mathematical one, but I guess that's the case :) |

Mean or Median? @PeterShor that whether mean being used here is correct usage or not, check out the link in more sources where it says, median should be used for skewed data instead of mean |

Mean or Median? @MattЭллен But why would an English book consider something mathematically wrong as wrong, its like a semantic error in programming, it doesn't do what it is supposed to do but "syntactically" according to the language it is correct. In the same way, writing 6 is semantically or mathematically wrong, but where English usage is concerned, it is correct or is it according to what the link says? |

Mean or Median? @MattЭллен since you're a programmer i wanted to express this argument (its not something against you, its just that i'm confused). |
