Usage of the word “insert” @AndrewLeach You don't know how many books like this one I've teared down the one from which I am asking questions, sometimes I get headaches looking at such terrible material where the reasons given for answers are not at all in line with the question or the context(mostly with reading comprehensions) :) |

Mean or Median? @MattЭллен But why would an English book consider something mathematically wrong as wrong, its like a semantic error in programming, it doesn't do what it is supposed to do but "syntactically" according to the language it is correct. In the same way, writing 6 is semantically or mathematically wrong, but where English usage is concerned, it is correct or is it according to what the link says? |
