Is there such a thing as a “pre-anniversary”? Or a better word? A few years ago, my then-fiancée and I went away for a "minus-six-months" anniversary weekend. Not sure about the terminology, but we decided that it sounded good enough to warrant a mini-break! |

What is a synonym for “most frequently occurring” It might depend on the context, but "commonest" doesn't sound ridiculous to me. |
