comment Why sometime we see 'Save As' while sometime we see 'Export' when dealing with file(s)
Regarding exporting, I think emphasis is more on the difference in format of the resulting file rather than if it's editable or if the same program can re-open it.

comment Provoke in a good way
Is spur not somewhat negative as well? As in it takes someone poking you with a wheel of sharp spikes to get you to do whatever it is they want you to do? ('prod' would be similar too)

comment Phrase to say that something which happened twice already is likely to happen again
Might be related to Lionel Richie's "You're once twice Three times a lady" (Three Times A Lady)

comment Is there a word for a non-geek?
There are different kinds of geeks. If you're looking for 'term which clearly defines somebody as a non-geek' it might help being a bit more precise. A computer-geek is a different beast than a history geek, fantasy-geek, math or sci-fi geek.

comment What do you call a disk drive that is not solid state?
HDDs are also sometimes refered to as 'fixed disks' to distinguish them from removable media such as floppy disks. You install them in the PC and leave them there. While solid-state drives are in the same sense 'fixed', they use no disks.
