“Merge a with b” and “Merge b with a” or “Merge b into a” This is what I was thinking too. I should clarify it the way you're thinking and state "merge hash2 into hash1" because it's in-place so there is never going to be a c and even though a programmer would see that right off the bat, average-Joe wouldn't... so it sounds like this is what I should do, use into rather than with so it implies that b is going into a. |

E-mail signature etiquette with a “With regards,” line This is normally how we would do it on our mailing lists. |

“And” or “with” when comparing Well, depending on the salad you would never normally dress it (unless it's bound by dressing) before it reaches the table. So I have edited my question to be more specific to Green Salads which one should never dress before they reach the table. I hope this clarifies it so that "with" and "and" can mean different things but I don't know if it will, worth a try.

Note: There are more reasons why a chef would never normally dress greens but I'm sure you already know all these reasons so I left them out. |
