comment Is there a word to describe a person who likes chaos?
This is amusing, and in a certain sense fine. But it isn't quite ok. I understand punning on entropy, but actually the latin doesn't translate the way we would like. en.wiktionary.org/wiki/entro

Both useful answers. To be honest, I had an even more nefarious connotation that mischievous. These are both great substitutes in the right situation.

Ya, I definitely am not thinking of anarchy. But I can see the relation.

comment What do you infer from this sentence “X is not Y or Z”?
Martinho is exactly right, and this is the reason for the confusion of your comment. Notice in my comment I use parenthesis. It is for exactly this reason! However, now I think you get the idea.

J D is correct, applying the rule of that post here states that "X is not Y or Z" corresponds to "X is not Y or X is not X". In symbolic logic where n corresponds to not, we have X=n(Y v Z) if and only if X=nY ^ nZ. This is referred to as one of De-Morgan's Laws.

comment “That” or “which”? Does it matter?
Is this true?! If this is in fact correct, thank you for pointing this out, as I had no idea. :/ +1 for now, but can you give a reference? Not that I think you are lying, but I am a bit paranoid now with respect to colloquialisms vs rules. This site is making me ever more nervous.

comment Would or Could, in a list of questions, is the first verb always the correct choice?
@Noldorin At the risk of becoming embroiled a) this should be discussed in meta b)your last comment is completely untrue, I have not demonstrated any "lack of decent behavior", and I cannot even fathom what to which you are referring, I ask you to engage me in a respectable way by email(bryan(dot)mysecondname(at)gmail) so that we can resolve this misunderstanding. I have no desire to create this sort of conflict on ANY SE site, and I have never acted in a way that should be perceived as a personal attack. ShreevatsaR is exactly correct in that it was your answer I was critizing, not you.

I am sorry for the partial dupe, I tried searching around, but I guess I still missed them.
