Difference between “smart” and “clever”
What is the difference between smart and clever?
As far as I understand the latter is offensive. But the Cambrige Dictionary gives similar definitions of smart and clever.

How common is “fugly”?
"Fugly" is a vulgar slang adjective as far as I know, and I wonder how common it is, and how do people react when they hear that word. Native speakers are appreciated if they share their opinions.
