I am starting to learn English. I will have a long trip to USA in next year. What English tenses do I need to learn first of all for everyday communication? So applying of all 12 tenses it is unreal. Even learn to use 9 tenses it is very difficult for a beginner. Maybe here is a short list of tenses that everyone need to know necessarily. But at the same time I want to be understood by others in simple situations using this short list of tenses.

"What English tenses do I need to learn" All of them, unless you want to speak broken english and sound weird. "So applying of all 12 tenses it is unreal." It is real. Tenses form 4x3 table, and follow specific pattern. You have a year to learn them and this is more than enough. "difficult for a beginner" I think you should be happy you aren't learning japanese where you need to memorize 2000+ characters just to read a book. – SigTerm Jun 6 '12 at 10:57
