In a bulleted list of why energy codes are important, I'm having trouble figuring out which punctuation to use. Here's the sentence and bullet:
"Energy codes help our state in many ways. For example, energy codes: • Lower monthly energy bills, which improves the standard of living for families, and strengthens Colorado businesses (and thereby the state’s economy)."
In the bullet, are the commas correct? Or should I put a colon after the word "which" and then a semi-colon after "families"?
